BACKGROUND
Federal University Lafia was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria on the 9th of February, 2011. The University took off in 2011/2012 session along with the Library as part of academic structure. The Library has its functions and structural organization put in place to enable it achieve its Vision and Mission in line with operational rules governing every Nigeria University.

HOURS OF SERVICES
The library shall be opened for use as indicated below:

Monday – Friday: 8.00am – 10.00pm

Saturday: 8.00am – 10.00pm

Sunday: 2.00pm – 10.00pm

LIBRARY E-RESOURCES
Access to e-resources in the e-Library are categorized into four (4) platforms namely:
1. Online Data Bases: These are archives of electronic journals and e-books available on the internet. We have access to over 15 online data bases.
2. e-Books: Currently, we have 7,078 e-books and 1000 e-journals in the database.
3. Institutional Repository: This’ Federal University Lafia institutional repository. So far, over 160 outputs have been uploaded to DSpace@FUL.
4. Learning Management System (LMS): LMS is an online platform where students access their lecture notes and interact with their lecturers
5. eGranary Digital Library: The eGranary Digital Library is a collection of documents meant to deliver educational Web content through the Institution local area network (LAN).
